Happy Halloween!

We celebrated on Saturday in Houston, Tx with some friends! Ryan was Poseidon and I was Calypso! 

Poseidon: The Greek god of the sea, earthquakes and horses 

Calypso: A nymph in Greek mythology, who lived on the island of Ogygia, where she detained Odysseus for several years

 

Shout out to Walmart and their 5$ twin sheets! Ryan's crown is actually a burger king crown we painted gold and bedazzled! His trident was just some cardboard a 2$ dowel from Michaels. My crown was the only part of the costume we bought pre-assembled. I got it for 6$ at one of those pop-up Halloween stores. We watched some youtube video to learn how to tie the togas and added some gold ribbon for waistbands! It was super DIY, but so cheap and easy to throw together! We got lots of compliments! So much fun!

Two of our friends were The Price is Right contestants! How creative is that?!
