Friday Favorites (10.21.16)

Annnnd Finally Friday!

Like every Friday, I am linking up with Grace and LoveA Little Bit of Everything, & Momfessionals  to share 5 of my favorites from the week!

Can we talk about how it is still high 80s here in Louisiana!?

This week I had a mini bathroom makeover! I was super sick of our brown striped shower curtain and (when wandering HomeGoods) decided it was time for an upgrade!

I fell in love with this teal curtain and bath mat! The bath mat looks super teal/bright in the picture next to the curtain but they actually go perfectly together! One of those things you have to see in person!

And here are just a couple other things in our bathroom!

I made these flower canvases with paper and modpodge 3 years ago and surprisingly they have held up really well!

I was on the phone with my Grammy earlier this week and she was complaining that she never gets Halloween cards so I put a call out to all my cousins to flood her with some Halloween Card love this year! I got my craft on with some super old (like +15 years old) scrapboooking stickers I had lying around! Hope she likes her spook-tacular card!

Recently I discovered Dry Shampoo (where the heck have I been)!!! It is a total game changer. You just spray some on when your hair is getting a little greasy and the dry shampoo absorbs the oils. I usually shower every other day so this dry shampoo is perfect for that weird in-between time. The one I am currently using is Dove brand. I didn't want to invest in an expensive brand when I wasn't sure if I would like it or not! Do any of you use Dry Shampoo and have any brand recommendations?! I have no issues with the Dove brand - just curious if you all have a brand you love!

Ok so I may be a little obsessed with Christmas.

Maybe more than a little.

I look forward to Christmas season the second we take down the Christmas tree. So when we were in Chicago at the Art Institute museum gift shop I found this gorgeous Advent Calendar.

And I fell in love with it.
And I can't afford it.
But I still want it.

I keep telling Ryan it's an investment in our Christmas future. He thinks I'm nuts. But here it is - the advent calendar made out of love and Christmas cheer.

I can not promise that there won't be a Christmas related favorite from this point forward. =)

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Mine is full of pumpkin carving and football!
