Chicago Part 2: 360 Observatory & Navy Pier
This post picks up where the last one left off so if you happened to miss yesterdays post you can check out Chicago Part 1 here!
After our tour of Wrigley Field we took advantage of the little bit of sunlight and decided to go up to the top of the John Hancock building! The 360 Chicago Observatory is 94 floors up and has gorgeous views of the city!
Outside the John Hancock building!
Right outside the Hancock building
We were completely beat by the time we finished the observatory and we went back to the hotel to "rest our eyes"… aka accidentally fall asleep for an hour and half! We woke up and apparently it was nighttime! So we decided to head to Navy Pier for dinner. I love Navy Pier and I have a tradition of riding the ferris wheel every time I visit…. what I didn't know was that work days the pier basically shuts down at 8pm! So early!! By the time we walked to the pier and had dinner… it was way past 8pm and the pier was like a ghost town. I was so disappointed! We walked the strip and took some night skyline pictures and called it a night with plans to come back the next day
