The Moving Plan

In just a little over a week we are moving cross-country up north to Massachusetts! In an effort to stay organized (and stress free) I have a couple things in mind!

My biggest game plan all revolves around duct tape! I bought 4 different brightly colored rolls of tape and as I box up each room - each tape color will match that room! So when the time comes to unpack the moving truck our friends will be able to color code the boxes to what room they belong in!   

(Definitely not as intense as this but has the same idea)

I also really love the idea of putting together a "moving day kit." Basically anything we will need in the apartment before the truck gets unloaded.

Things to include:
Lysol Wipes 

Toilet Paper

Windex

Water bottles

The Swiffer  

Shower curtain

Toiletries 

We have moved 4 times in the last 3.5 years so I have a decent idea of the stuff you end up looking for on day 1!

For the bunny! Willow is going to ride in the backseat of Ryan's car with us in his cage (it is always convenient when your entire little home can move with you)! Unfortunately Willow HATES car rides and we are planning on him to be really stressed by the experience. When he moved from Massachusetts to Louisiana he went on a hunger strike for a couple days because he was so traumatized from the experience. Knowing this ahead of time - I had a phone meeting with the vet and his recommendation is to feed him wet veggies (for vitamins and hydration) during the course of the day. We are going to keep the cooler in the backseat with both his snacks and ours! 

We leave on the 31st, are going to spend a night in South Carolina with my aunts and then finish the trip/arrive in MA on the 1st!! I can't believe how quick it's coming!
