Cascade Trail and Waterfall - North Adams

Over the next three days I will be re-capping my time in north west Massachusetts starting off with a gorgeous hike we did in North Adams. We did this as a day trip on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and since I took so many pictures I decided to break up the day in 3 posts so as not to overwhelm you with toooo many pictures per post!

Ryan and his parents came with us and our first stop for the day was the Cascade trail and waterfall! Everything was so lush - we kept saying it was felt like a fairy tale!

When we finally got to the falls it was gorgeous! About 20-30 feet up and really flowing! We had to get closer and that meant trekking through 40 degree water and and climbing on some seriously slippery rocks!

Ryan was a pro!

Good thing he had shorts on that day!

Ryan's parents had to be part of the action but they needed some extra help... Ryan was on top of it!

The walk back was just as beautiful!

From here we went to the Natural Area State Park! Come back tomorrow to see the most beautiful Marble waterfall!
