Friday Favorites (8.19.16) - Pray for Louisiana
Usually on Fridays I link up with Grace and Love, A Little Bit of Everything, & Momfessionals to share Friday Favorites.
But today I am putting in a request for everyone to continue to pray for Louisiana.
I want you to take a minute and look around your home, your office, your school, your yard and imagine 5 feet of water there. Now picture what that means. Furniture destroyed. Paintings destroyed. Cars destroyed. Carpets and hard wood destroyed. Cabinets destroyed. Photographs destroyed.
Every single thing you own soaked in a layer of bacteria infested water.
Peoples entire lives have been taken away from them.
Now imagine the after effects.
You can't get anywhere because you have no car.
You have no clothes except the ones on your back - your other clothes are covered in mildew from sitting in water.
Your entire house has to be gutted because everything was destroyed.

The red cross needs people to donate time at shelters
People need help gutting their houses
Countless people need access to laundry machines
If you are NOT local… you can still help!
Schools lost countless supplies
Churches lost bibles and books
Animals shelters have no food or supplies
Thousands of people have been left with nothing and even the littlest donation would mean the world to a family.
