Berry Berry Pie!

On Sunday it was rainy… and when it rains… I like to bake! 

I was looking for something quick, easy and had a few ingredients and thought… today is a perfect day for my Berry Berry Pie! This pie has been a hit this summer because it is sooo painfully easy to whip out and who doesn't love a fruity summer dessert!? 

Ingredients: 

2 Packages Blueberries 

1 1/2 Package Strawberries 

1/2 Cup Sugar

2 Pre-made Pie Crusts 

1 Tbsp Butter 

**Side note: Homemade pie crusts are cool and all but sometimes a girl just needs a pre-made crust!

Oven Prep: 

Preheat oven at 350 degrees 

Directions: 

1. Wash all berries 

2. Dice strawberries and add to bowl with whole blueberries 

3. Add sugar  

4. Mix for even distribution

5. Roll out 1 pie crust over pie dish 

6. Add berry mixture 

7. Roll out second pie crust to cover berries 

8. Pinch edges together 

9. Add fun decorative cut-out design 

**Side note: I chose R&N (for Ryan & Nikki) because I just bought these cute magnets from Michaels and thought that would be a fun design!! 

10. Wrap foil to cover crust edges 

11. Melt butter and spread over visible pie crust 

12. Sprinkle with sugar 

13. Place pie in oven for 25 minutes 

14. Remove pie from oven and remove the foil covering the crusts 

15. Place pie back in oven for 20 more minutes 

16. ENJOY!! 

**Side Note: This pie is very juicy if eaten the day it is baked. If you let it sit for a day it will thicken up and be thicker for cutting
