It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year - Christmas Gift Guide

Woooo a Christmas Link-up!

I am participating in Sarah and Victoria's Christmas link-up:
It's the Most Wonderful Time of The Year!

Today's theme is Christmas Gift Guide!

This time last year I did a post explaining the rules of a Yankee Swap and with that I gave some gift ideas! Long story short - a Yankee Swap is a gift exchange where you do not not know who the recipient of the gift will be. This is important because 1) you could end up with the gift that you brought and 2) the gift has to be relevant for a diverse group of guests. Here are my top four Yankee Swap Gifts:

1. Big Fluffy Blanket – No matter what your age, you cannot go wrong with bringing a  warm fuzzy blanket. Home Goods always has the best cozy blankets for ~15-20$! They are all over the place this time of year so you shouldn't have any issue finding one!

2. Bottle of Wine – This gift brings a little class and can be purchased no matter what the price range!

3. Kitchen/Household Goods – Some good examples: A waffle iron, a nice glass piece, something decorative, a cutting board, cute table clothes or linen. A quick sweep of Bed Bath and Beyond will help you find some home gadget/decoration worthy of gifting.

4. Scratch tickets – This is always a risky gift. Obviously you could be gifting something worth nothing… but there is the chance it could be valuable! This is usually my back-up back-up gift!

I have done basically all of my Christmas shopping (Woo!) but since some readers are gift recipients... I am not able to share! Sorry!
