Today's theme is Holiday Recipes

I have a couple favorite Holiday Recipes but unfortunately no pictures to show since I have not gotten around to any of my seasonal baking yet!

Here are some of my favorite!

 Christmas Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar 
1/2 tsp baking powder 

Directions
1. Cream butter
2. Add sugar gradually 
3. Add egg and vanilla 
4. Add flour with baking powder 
5. Chill 
6. Roll out on floured surface 
7. Use cookie cutters 
8. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet 
9. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes

 Chocolate Bark

Ingredients
2/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 sticks of butter
1 sleeve unsalted saltines 
Bag of chocolate chips 
 
Directions
1. Mix sugar and butter
2. Bring to boil for 1 min
3. Line cookie sheet with foil and spray with pam
4. Spread saltines covering entire cookie sheet
5. Pour butter and sugar over saltines 
6. Bake at 5min at 350 degrees 
7. Take out of oven and pour chocolate chips on top
8. Let sit 10 min 
9. Spread melted chocolate to cover all saltines 
10. Cool overnight 
11. Break apart 

** Pro Tip: I love to mix regular chocolate and butterscotch chips together!  So yummy!

Snow Pudding

Ingredients 
Freshly fallen snow! 
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar 
1 egg

Directions
 1. Mix cream, milk, vanilla, sugar and egg together
2. Mix in freshly fallen snow until thickens up like ice cream!
