Willow Wednesday: Part 7


First Wednesday of the month! You know what that means!!! Willow Wednesday! Aka the one day of the month I allow myself to gush and give you updates on my fluffy bunny!

So a couple updates on my fluffy bunny! 

1) The most important thing happening right now in Willow's world is that he has a new BFF! Meet Steve… our neighborhood squirrel! 


Willow's cage is across from our porch sliding door and without fail… every morning when I open the blinds…. Steve is sitting there waiting to say good morning to Willow! 

So the real reason I think he has been hanging out is either a) because I shake Willows blanky outside and he smells the fur, b) he smells Willow's food or hay or c) he simply just smells Willow. 

I'd like to think they hang out all day when I am away at work and share small critter secrets! It really is funny. Usually I scare him in the morning when I am running around the apartment getting ready but a couple of times I have seen him go back on the porch as I am getting in the car to leave for work! Too cute! 

 2) I always feel so bad when I am leaving Willow for vacation… because since we are leaving… he is having less play time and is probably a little lonely. I imagine Willow crying like this… 


We always have a bunny sitter if we are gone more than a night away so that he has company and play time... but I also like to give him something special so that when we leave, he has something exciting going on! This was his special treat this time around (don't worry - he only got one)! 



3) Other goings-on in Willow's world… he got a new toy last week! This is his new hay hut! We got it to encourage his chewing but in a bunny-friendly location! 


He hasn't quite figured it out yet but is totally interested in it! He likes sniffing it and sticking his head in to to check it out!  

Those are my fluffy bunny updates for the month! We so love him! We got so many bunny kisses when got home from Hot Springs! … And we think he loves us too! =)
