Finding Dory
One of the many things I did this past weekend was go to the movies to see Finding Dory!
We have waited a long 13 years since Finding Nemo so I was not only super excited, but I'm pretty sure I had high expectations going into it! And not going to lie… it met all of my expectations and some!! It was ADORABLE!!
It brought back some old fan favorites and introduced a bunch of fun new ones! One of my new favorites is Hank the Octopus (Septopus… you'll get it when you see it)! Hank's sarcasm and dry personality compliment Dory's upbeat and silly personality! So much fun!
Finding Dory Storyline:
"Dory is a wide-eyed, blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so. The one thing she can remember is that she somehow became separated from her parents as a child. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic adventure to find them. Her journey brings her to the Marine Life Institute, a conservatory that houses diverse ocean species. Dory now knows that her family reunion will only happen if she can save mom and dad from captivity."

You also get a near sighted whale shark, a deranged bird, some lazy rock seals, the most cuddly otters, and many other fun new characters!

And on a semi related side note: The Pixar short before the movie Piper was the absolute CUTEST! Pixar does such an amazing job telling a great story without using words! This might actually be my new favorite Pixar short!
So go see Finding Dory! It was fantastic! The perfect mix of fun and lovable! Annnd I definitely plan to own it when it comes out on DVD!
