Friday Favorites (6.17.16)

FriYay!!! Finally! 

So I am usually a little more on top of my blog posts then I have been this week! I usually write them the night before and then post them in the morning before going to work! Well that didn't happen the past couple days!! Whoops!! So sorry for this later-ish Friday Favorites! 

And like every Friday... I am linking up with Grace and Love, A Little Bit of Everything, & Momfessionals  to share 5 of my favorites from the week! 

So what have I been up to this week…. 

First off I have been religiously reading this… 

After You by Jojo Moyes 

This book is the sequel to Me Before You (also out in theaters right now) and it couldn't be any more different then the first book! I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting… but it wasn't this! That being said I love it… just wasn't expecting it! I will post about it next week once I have finished it! 

Last week my boyfriend and I hosted a game night on Thursday. We played two card games: Pitch and 13. See how serious my boyfriend's face was?! He was so into it! 

Then this week we invited everyone over again and this time we played Settlers of Catan. For those of you unfamiliar with the game… it is a little like Monopoly but with resources instead of money. 

My entire family is hooked on this game and I love that my friend group is into it too!! Thursday night game night is now officially unofficially on the weekly schedule! Whoever wants can show up and we will switch out the games each week! 

My sister sent me this picture… 

My childhood home is up for sale in Massachusetts. It is so heartbreaking to me to see the sign in the front yard… I guess that makes it official! I will be home in July and I plan to have a heartfelt goodbye to eulogize my house. 

All week we have been eating this Oreo Cake… 

What it lacks in looks… it makes up in taste! It was like eating one large moist cookie! Yum! 

And finally there has been a lot of this… 

This entire week in Louisiana has been in the high 90s and even hit the 100s! Aka either you plop your bum by the pool or hang out in the AC!! I predict it is going to be one hot summer!
