One Night Ultimate Werewolf

Ok by the title of this post… if you have no idea what I am talking about… it sounds like a bizarre combination of words. Actually it is the name of the new game I discovered this weekend! Being the game junky that I am, I fell in love with this one just after one round (and we probably played close to 20 rounds in one evening)!! And of course I had to share my new discovery (cough cough obsession) with all of you! 

In short… it's like Mafia. The beginning of the game starts with everyone being given an "identity" on a card which is kept secret. Then the "night" happens where everyone closes their eyes. Depending on your identity, you are given special directions of what you can do over the course of the night. You are either on team villager or team werewolf. The goal of the game is to "kill" a member from the werewolf team (and in reverse, if you are a werewolf you want to wrongly accuse someone so that the villagers kill one of their own). Since no one knows who is who, thats where the fun (and lies) begin! 

Having fun interesting identities also switches up the madness! For example… one of the identities is called the "Troublemaker." During the "night" when everyones eyes are closed, when it is their turn, they actually switch two players cards. So when the night is over… a werewolf (who may not be a werewolf anymore) could actually be on team villager and not realize it (and vice-versa)! Mix in a bunch of silly roles and the game gets really interesting!  

Did I mention the best part…!? It comes with a free App! Whereas in Mafia, someone has to play "God" and give out directions… in One Night, the App gives out the directions so that everyone can play! Not to mention the App voice/music are hilarious!
