Happy Mardi Gras!
Happy Mardi Gras! Since I work right in downtown New Orleans... and can't physically get to work today… we have it off! I am taking the day to relax and have some quality me-time! If you want to read my 3 part series on Mardi Gras you can do so here…
And since tomorrow is Ash Wednesday and is the first day of Lent, I am cleaning out my apartment of all things cheesy and sugary (aka everything that makes food worth eating)! My boyfriend and I are going to give up cheese (yikes!) and desserts this year! There is one exception…. my boyfriends birthday is February 17th and birthday cake is allowed that day! Wish us luck!
