Christmas 2017

It seems fitting that I am writing this post as I take down the Christmas decorations!
Time to bring on 2018!

This year we had a white Christmas! We got some icey rain on Christmas Eve and about 6 inches of snow on Christmas! When it was still icey out on Christmas Eve, Ryan and I went to a local State Park. We were the only crazy people there slipping and sliding all over the place.
But you know what? ... It was a blast!!

Later that day we went to Mass and then to my Grammy's to celebrate Lithuanian Kucios. It is basically the same thing as normal Catholic Christmas, but we celebrate the night Jesus was born not the day!

My big family does a massive Yankee Swap which is usually the highlight of the evening!

When we got home we changed into our Christmas Jammies and snapped a quick family photo before bed!

Christmas morning we opened some presents...

Then headed to Ryan's parents house for the day!

Ryan's aunt got everyone these funny glasses and we had a lot of fun taking pictures in them!

Facetiming Ryan's oldest sister who lives in California!

It was a great Christmas and Christmas Eve!
The rest of the week was spent visiting other family and friends!

I went with my goddaughter to get her bridesmaid dress!

And Ryan got proposed to! To be a Best Man that is!

Now that Christmas is over we would normally be getting ready for Mardi Gras but now that we live in Massachusetts we just have to deal with the rest of the snow until Spring!
