Weekend Round Up!

4 Days Until The Big Reveal!!! 

Are you Excited?! I'm Excited!!! 

As you can see a couple things have changed around here! First off… the new banner and color scheme! Like? More things will be changing as it gets closer to the reveal! 

So let's talk about this weekend! It was perfect! Great weather. Great food. Great company. All around a good weekend! It was completely relaxing for once and I loved every minute of it!!! 

On Friday I took note of it being Earth day and saw this baby plant growing outside my office. Unfortunately it took root in a location that the landscapers are probable going to want to stay tree-free...  but I am keeping my fingers crossed either way! I am routing for you little guy! 

On Saturday I finally mailed off my goddaughters First Communion present! I can't believe how big she is already!! I am not able to fly up for her big day but was able to get her a special gift! I picked her out a cross at the jewelers a couple weeks ago and was sooo excited when it finally came in! I wanted a cross that was girly but also elegant and won't go out of style! I am really happy with my selection! It isn't too big and has a dainty feel to it… in other words… exactly what I was looking for! I coordinated with her mom to send it early so she can wear it the day of her First Communion! Can't wait to see the pictures! 

The rest of Saturday involved some quality pool/tanning time. My girlfriend came over with two missions: 1. To address wedding invites and 2. work on evening-out her back tan. She succeeded in both! That is some serious pool-time multitasking! 

My boyfriend was hanging out with us too, but he isn't really one for long term sun exposure so he ended up going to get groceries and made dinner for us in the evening! #RealWorldRomanticMoments 

BTW: This is the pool at our new apartment complex! I am so in love with it!! I will probably spend lots of time there in the next couple of weeks! 

On Sunday I finally finished the 2000 piece puzzle I had been working on over the course of the week! I swear I am not a grandma… I just really like puzzles!! When my boyfriend goes away for work, I usually set one up for something to do at night! 

This puzzle is of Cinque Terre, Italy which reminded me so much of Porto Ecrole, Italy (a little port town off of the western coast). When my boyfriend and I backpacked through Europe in 2013, we decided to stay in a little bed & breakfast in Porto Ecrole and we have such great memories from that little stay! It was the relaxing part of the entire backpacking trip! This puzzle made me think of those 4 days! 

Sunday came to an end like most of the country. Watching Game of Thrones. Without giving away any spoilers…. I was sooo excited for Sunday and then really disappointed with the season premier. It just felt like one long extended trailer for the season to come. I was hoping for more. GoT sort of has this pattern of 8 really "eh" episodes and then 2 really awesome ones two keep you hooked! Here is to hoping the season gets better as it goes! 

Which brings me to today… Happy Monday! I hope this week goes by quick…!!!
