Guys!! I have some really exciting news! Next Friday marks my 100th blog post!!! I can't believe this new years resolution has already brought me to 100 posts!! Time really flies!! Feels like just yesterday I was finding my words with my very first post… lovingly titled: Blog Post Number 1!
So I have been thinking for a while about how I could make this special and have come to the conclusion (after some serious deliberation) to make my 100th post-iversary also my unveiling party!! As you know I have been going by the name WC and keeping things relatively anonymous. This has been a challenge (and almost a contradiction) with the goal of documenting life more. Some of my favorite photos contain me and my friends in them! Though I do plan to limit my family and friend exposure (and post only with their permission)… I have decided it is time to unmask!!
I am really excited (and not going to lie a little nervous) about next week! It is one thing to state your opinion of things online anonymously... but a whole other thing to stamp your name on it! This may also result in some rebranding and some changes in the website layout/design so bare with me! I do still plan to stay "Favorites, Some Fun & A Fluff Bun" … at least for now! <3 Stay tuned! I hope to see you all next Friday!
On Wednesday I made the most yummy homemade Nutella cake! You can read all about that here…
I combined two different recipes… Mix and Match Mama's Nutella Cake recipe and Hershey's "Perfectly Chocolate" Chocolate Cake recipe! It was delicious! I can't wait for my boyfriend to get home from his business trip to try it!! All we ate when we backpacked through Europe was Nutella! Mmmm!
This week I also shared some movies I watched recently to keep me company in my quiet empty apartment!!
These three movies couldn't be any more different but I loved all of them - all of different reasons! You can read my mini reviews of Pitch Perfect 2, Wild and Trainwreck …. here!
And speaking of entertainment I am 100% absorbed with the new teen book series I am currently reading.
Yes. I read teen fiction novels.
Yes. I am an "adult" and not a teen.
No. I don't care what you think!
Periodically I need a super easy read and... when that time comes... I always turn to popular teen novels. Light. Fun. Usually become epic movies. Aka exactly what I was looking for!
This time around I have picked up the Matched Series by Ally Condie.
I destroyed book number 1, Matched (read it in 2 days… completely an easy read), and am currently on book number 2 Crossed. I promise to do a review post when I complete the series… which I am sure will be soon!
And finally… how could I go a whole week without posting a picture of my fluffy bunny Willow… short answer: I can't! He is shedding up a storm right now but at the same time unusually cuddly… aka he is like "mom please come pet me so I can get my fur all over you"… we know what you are up to Willow! Love those fluffy cheeks! <3 WC
