Christmas 2018

This year Christmas creeped up on me! I feel like I was working, working, working then BAM - Santa was here and then I was back at work again! We tried to squeeze in as much Christmas cheer in as we could starting with getting our tree!

Last year was the first time that I ever cut down my own Christmas Tree and ever since then, I can’t imagine doing it any other way!! This year Ryan and I tried a different tree farm (not for any other reason than we wanted somewhere that was open during the work day and not just the weekend). We went to Evergreen Tree Farm in Sterling, MA and it was simply adorable.

When we got there they had a little key with what each type of tree would look and smell like which was super handy because the tree I would instinctively go for is not the kind that smells super strong (and strong tree smell is important to me)!! They gave us a map and a wheel barrel and off we went.

We checked out a bunch of trees and finally settled on this one! She is not as tall as we were hoping for, but she is way fatter! Our tradition is to name our tree so I am happy to introduce… Abagail!

Look at this goofball bunny face!! Willow's goal in life is to eat the tree so we have to keep a fence around it in the winter so he doesn't eat all the bottom branches!

Christmas Eve was at my grandmothers house where we celebrate Kucious (Lithuanian Christmas).  It was great catching up with all of my cousins!

On Christmas day we had my dad and his girlfriend over for breakfast and then we went to Ryan's family's for the day. Christmas was so fun this year because there were 5 little babies running around all under 2. It's so fun having little people around for the holidays.
